Winter
According to the calendar,
It's not officially Winter.
But according to the weather,
The wind, the ice, and the snow,
It is very much so.
And we call this ice-cold, wintry weather
A new season.
Christmas trees come up,
Menorah's light the warm windows,
Presents and food is passed around
From hand to mouth.
Tradition is kept and made
Through word and memory
As we wrap ourselves in the warmth
Of love and family.

It's cold. Really cold. According to my friend, it started snowing the other day during second period. (And I think anther one of my friends said that it started snowing during first period while they where at IHOP. But we might've been talking about something else. The real question is, why was this person in IHOP during 1st period?) Sadly, I did not get to see any of this snow. But it's December, so I will soon. So, Happy Winter (Weird how it's not technically winter yet, but people just call it that. This world is so disorganized.)
